Le pari de la qualité

Softwood or hardwood

When used outside, the lifespan of wood is limited. To achieve an acceptable level of durability, you have to treat your wooden terracing repeatedly and apply noxious chemicals. Over time, both softwood and exotic wood will fade, peel, split and create splinters. The screw heads pop out. Moisture makes the wood slippery.

It is no longer acceptable, and nor is it possible, to ignore environmental considerations whatever branch of the building sector is concerned, and although there is currently a resurgence of interest in wood - especially exotic wood - its excessive use may compromise the ecological balance.
