«I have always been convinced that composite wood was going to provide the answer to today’s needs when it comes to wooden construction for home interiors and exteriors. It was this idea that inspired me to create Geobois, a business dedicated to producing and distributing wood composite products and wood composite manufacturing technologies.
The quality of this product, and its natural look and feel was central to the project, and this is why Geobois chose to work in close collaboration with established manufacturers to develop the product, and to benefit in this way from tried and tested know-how acquired over the last thirty years.
The resulting wood composite planking, Geolam®, is now helping conserve the world’s rainforests and contributing to environment conservation since its manufacture does not involve cutting down trees, and treating and maintaining it causes no secondary pollution.
Its appearance and feel, nonetheless, are similar to those of highest quality hardwood. Geolam® is naturally more durable and does not warp, and today offers a really exciting alternative to exploiting the equatorial rainforests.»

It is naturally durable with permanent colouring, evenly distributed throughout the material. It is built to last, and is extremely dense which helps prevent humidity from penetrating.
